The attached resource is slides from the National Family Law Pathways Network webinar on Parental Alienation in the Australian Family Law System, presented by Zoe Rathus AM. This webinar explored the concept of parental alienation in the Australian family law system, and particularly looked at the impact of tensions between:

  • the philosophy of shared post-separation parenting;
  • family and domestic violence;
  • protection of children from harm;
  • allegations of alienation of children from a parent; and
  • ways the idea of parental alienation can be misused.
