About the event

With the assistance of the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Legal Assistance Forum, the Bundaberg Family Law Pathways Network is hosting a series of workshops across the Wide Bay region on the practical considerations of domestic and family violence.  Sessions will cover:

• What constitutes domestic violence under the DV legislation
• What you need to put in an affidavit to establish the elements required to be proved
• When to seek legal advice;
• How do parenting issues (eg respondent spending time with the children) fit in with DV proceedings
• What to expect during the court process (interim and final hearings)

When to consider an appeal.
