One in four Australians reported moderate to severe levels of distress this year, with the highest levels reported by young people.
According to the 2014 findings of the Australian Psychological Society's Stress and Wellbeing in Australian Survey, Australians are faring slightly better than last year; however, levels of wellbeing are still lower than the first survey in 2011, and stress and distress levels are higher than those reported in 2012 and 2011.
The APS has published a range of resources on the survey findings, including fact sheets, infographics, and guides on how to reduce stress levels.
